Rickson Gracie, at the RG American Jiu-Jitsu Association tournament, presented David Camarillo with the prestigious award of most technical American Jiu-Jitsu fighter. This after David's terrorizing victories in both the light-weight and open classes of the event.

David is also currently ranks 3rd in Olympic Judo Points for the 73 kg weight class. He is a member of the World University Games Team representing USA.

David's commitment to excellence has driven him to the top of both Sport Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. There is currently no other athlete excelling to his level in both sports world wide. David has traveled to Brazil to fight the best. He fought on the same card with Royce Gracie and Walid Ishmail and left the Brazilian crowd in shock by beating one of Brazil's top fighters.
