Patriot won by unanimous decision last night at Fat Cat's 'Fight Night'. His record is now 4-0. His next fight will be his 5th and final fight at this event, so come and check it out! 'Fight Night' is the first Tuesday of every month at the Fat Cat club in Modesto.

As many of you already know, getting out of bed on a Saturday morning for practice is one of life's most difficult tasks. Here's a picture of those from our school that made it last weekend.

NEWS: December 2004

Plenty of fists flying last night as Alex "Patriot" Perez and Joe "I'll Knock Your Head Off" Cota continue to carry on the Fightcontrol team winning streak at the Fat Cat Club Tuesday Night "FIGHT NIGHT". Patriot returned for his second consecutive win. This time with a judges' decision over a fighter from Oakland. Cota, also with his second win, dominated a local boxer with a TKO in the 1st round. The team is now 9-0 at this monthly event.

The "Compound" (Dave's house) in Cupertino, CA was the site on Saturday for the coming together of Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu/Ralph Gracie Jiu Jitsu Modesto, Ralph Gracie of Mountain View, Camarillo Jiu Jitsu of Bakersfield and the American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose. This was an epic night as all four schools proved that Gumby was right all along -- we jiu jitsu guys gotta "Train Hard, Fight Hard, and PARTY HARD!" Here are some pics:
